It has been a fabulous Year for Cowes Doctors.
Who would have thought when Dr Kadom arrived in January 2011 that by October the Clinic would outgrow its old location in just 9 months!
The kindness and love expressed by you over the Xmas period to our staff and doctors was very touching. And we thank you so much for the kind gifts and your support over the last year.
All over New Year we have had many residents coming and saying “my friends and neighbours have been recommending you and I am finally here!”

ANNOUNCING JANUARY WEEKEND CLINICS
In response to patient requests for a consistent service for January we will run a Trial for weekend clinics at 12 Warley Avenue with Dr Ibrahim.
Saturdays 9am to 4pm
Sundays 10am to 4pm
We Ask for Your Patience and Understanding with Other Clinics
Because Cowes Doctors has rapidly developed a reputation for quality medicine with understanding and love there have been many patients transferring files from other clinics.
Please understand that these clinic are not used to transferring files over. And they do not yet have the technological skills to simply send the files quickly and electronically as many other modern clinics do. We ask that you be patient with these clinics as they are trying their best.
With so many new patients joining Cowes Doctors, from other clinics from around the region, we have decided to move to keep our service to the high standards you have come to expect.
So as of late October there is a big surprise for you.

For the time being Thompson Avenue next to Rumbles in the Arcade behind Polyanna is where you will find Cowes Doctors.
Dr Kadom has responded to a number of requests to help improve the quality of care for Nursing home residents in Phillip Island.
Today she commenced her first visit.
It is expected she will be available 1 evening per week on a Wednesday.

We have made a small name change as of the 7th of February: what was Cowes Bulk Billing Surgery – a bit of a mouthful – to “Cowes Doctors” Medical Clinic in Victoria’s Gippsland Region of Phillip Island.
Our General Practitioners (GPs) now include
- our new lady doctor Dr Azad Kadom and
- your well known Dr Tarek Ibrahim.
Dr Ibrahim has been away on holidays and returns on 21 st February.
Dr Azad Kadom FRACGP MBChB interests’ include Women’s health, maternity & shared care, contraception, children’s health and weight management.
Dr Kadom has bought a house with her partner David in Cowes and has settled on Phillip Island.
